Basic Heart Coding
For a long time I have wanted to develop an alternate way of doing energy tapping, similar to meridian tapping techniques like Emotional Freedom Techniques, that works more directly with the energy of the heart.  In the middle of 2019 I followed inspiration and did just that and called the technique "Heart Coding."  Since then I have used it frequently and I have made small adjustments.  Now I will share the technique for you to set up your own experiments.

The technique consists of an opening position, 7 tapping points and then a closing position.

Note:  All positions and points are illustrated in the header image.

Opening Position: 

  • Bring the fingertips of both hands so that they touch and form a pyramid.  Then rest this pyramid on the center of your chest by letting your thumbs touch that spot while still touching each other.
  • Close your eyes and hold this position for at least 30 seconds.  Your energy will start centering there and activating your Heart Field even more.

Palm Tap:  With one fingertip, lightly tap the center of your non-dominant hand about 12 times or more.

Perimeter Taps:  Using the same fingertip, you will begin tapping spots located just below the crease of where your fingers are joined to your palm (see illustration).  

  • Start with tapping the spot below the crease of your pinky finger where it's joined to your palm.  Tap another 12 times at that point.
  • Slowly inhale and exhale.
  • Move to the spot below the ring finger's joint and tap the same.
  • Repeat the breathing.
  • Continue around to the spots below your middle finger, the pointer finger (aka, index or forefinger) and the thumb, breathing again after each tapping.  You're essentially tapping around part of your palm's perimeter.

Backside Tap:

  • Turn your hand over so that the back of your hand faces you.
  • Use three fingertips to tap the back of your hand about 12 times again.
  • Inhale & exhale

Closing Position:  

  • Now entwine all fingers of both hands together into a clasp, except the thumb and pointer fingers.  Let the tips of these two fingers touch each other and form a kind of diamond shape with them.  Rest your hands again on your heart in the center of your chest as before with your thumbs resting at that spot while still touching each other.
  • Close your eyes and stay in this position at least 30 seconds.
  • This completes one round of Heart Coding.

This Basic format is what I call "general tapping."  Doing this without stating any kind of intention is just a general activation of the Heart's energy.  By itself, it helps clarify the mind and become centered.

I will often do a general round when I first wake up.  It helps me wake up and gets the Love energies flowing throughout my system.  A fantastic way of starting the day!
